Ming Chi University of Technology's Department of Electronic Engineering is seeking full-time or project-based faculty members.
- Vacancies: 1 position (Assistant Professor or above, full-time or project-based)
- Start Date: February 1, 2026
- Qualifications:
- A doctoral degree in electronic or electrical engineering or related fields recognized by the Ministry of Education, from a domestic or overseas institution.
- At least one year of cumulative practical work experience in the industry (full-time or part-time) as required by the Ministry of Education.
- Expertise in integrated circuit design, microelectronics, semiconductors, or information engineering.
- Ability to publish papers in SCI/SSCI journals is preferred.
- Experience working for over a year in research centers, universities, or industry R&D is preferred.
- Ability to assist in executing industry-academia cooperation projects.
- Proficiency in teaching in English.
- Required Documents:
- Resume and autobiography (must include detailed educational and work experience, mailing address, contact phone number, email address, recent photo, research expertise, and list of publications).
- Copy of the doctoral degree certificate (for foreign degrees, a verification copy from the relevant overseas office must be attached).
- Copy of the assistant professor or above certificate (if not available, this can be omitted).
- Summary of personal R&D achievements and future research directions with relevant proof.
- Copies of two representative publications that align with one of the specified areas of expertise.
- List of SCI/SSCI journal publications (including journal ranking).
- Transcripts (including undergraduate and graduate levels) and any other documents that may assist in the review (such as execution of Ministry of Science and Technology projects, industry projects, awards, or patents in professional fields).
- Personal data collection notice and consent form for the applicant (attached).
- Related Rights:
- The university offers a maximum research start-up fund of NT$1.2 million and provides better salaries and benefits than public universities (such as research bonuses, project subsidies, and medical discounts at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital).
- New faculty members will have a reduced basic teaching load of 6 hours per semester in the first year.
