Ming Chi University of Technology's Department of Materials Engineering is sincerely recruiting 2 full-time assistant professors or above.

Qualifications and Areas of Expertise: Candidates should have a degree primarily in materials science and must be willing to teach courses arranged by the department (including EMI courses).

Position Level: Full-time or project assistant professor (inclusive).

Start Date: August 1, 2026.

The Department of Materials Engineering at Ming Chi University of Technology has outstanding achievements in talent cultivation and research project promotion. Those who hold a Ph.D. and meet the above qualifications and are interested in teaching in this department are invited to send the following materials before the application deadline. Curriculum Vitae (including areas of expertise and a list of publications).

Copy of diploma (for graduates from foreign universities who have not obtained local teaching qualifications, verification of foreign academic credentials and transcripts completed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required) or a legitimate proof of expected graduation by the end of June 2026.

Transcripts from undergraduate and graduate studies.

Three recommendation letters (to be provided upon notification for an interview).

Cover page and abstract of the thesis.

Copies of other publications.

Teaching plan: detailing teaching experience and future courses that can be offered.

Research plan: research or achievements from the last five years and future research directions.

Complete relevant performance forms, as attached (Ming Chi University of Technology Department of Materials Engineering New Faculty Points Calculation Form).

According to Ministry of Education regulations, candidates must have accumulated over one year of industry practical work experience (including postdoctoral researchers), which can be fulfilled before employment.

Note: Preference will be given to those with teaching experience or industry experience.
